This is an account of events that took place in the twelfth century, that involved two men from contrasting backgrounds and different countries.
During a period of almost a year, the two men established a friendship that would last for the remainder of their joint lives, and that would have profound consequences for Catalunya.
The action that stemmed from friendship affected Catalunya more than anything that had gone before, or has since.
